Kingsmill Bond is an energy strategist at Ember energy.

He sees the energy transition from fossil fuels to renewables as an unstoppable technology shift, driven by the forces of physics, economics and geopolitics.

He has an MA in history from Cambridge University, qualified as an accountant (CIMA), and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification.

He was a financial market analyst and strategist for 20 years, working in London, Moscow and Hong Kong for Deutsche Bank, Citibank and others, with a focus on the emerging markets

For the last decade his focus has been on the energy transition, working as a strategist for Carbon Tracker, the Rocky Mountain Institute and Ember
